Tactical Shotgun
Outline and Course Objectives
The Tactical Shotgun Course is designed for the novice shooter or remedial training for the more experienced shotgun shooter.
The shotgun is a very powerful, and the most versatile weapons system, making it an excellent choice for defense.
This course will cover the pump and semi-automatic operating systems. Students will learn proper maintenance, employment, ammunition selection, mechanics and manipulation.
Student Materials (Minimum Suggestion)
- Approximately 200rds of bird ammo
- 20+ of buck ammo
- 10 rds of slug ammo

Shotgun Armorer
Outline and Course Objectives
The Shotgun Armoring Course covers the Law Enforcement Duty type pump shotguns of the Remington 870, Mossberg 500/590, and the Semi-automatic Benelli M1-90.
- Headspace and wear inspections
- Action and function
- Barrel inspections
- Fore-end assembly & action bars
- Bolt assembly (extraction & spring, firing pin, retractor spring, flexitab cuts)
- Ejector inspection & replacement
- Slide assembly inspection
- Magazine spring, retainer & followers
- Shell latches, inspections, adjustment & replacement
- Custom accessories & enhancements
- Maintenance
All tools, manuals, and anything else that is necessary is supplied. We will provide rifles & shotguns with prior arrangements. We prefer that students bring their own weapon systems to get familiar with their own configuration and modifications, plus this allows the time for a good thorough cleaning and inspection, plus we can replace and repair any parts necessary. This is a very intensive course that we cover in 1 day, so be prepared to get a lot of hands on knowledge.
